Alison Bales: Dayton Lady Hoopstars Hall of Fame

Indiana Fever’s, Alison Bales, was celebrated for her induction into the Dayton Lady Hoopstars Hall of Fame.

The Hoopstars program, a nationally recognized AAU basketball club, was where it all started for Alison Bales. She has fond memories of growing up and her time spent with the Hoopstars. She helpedĀ  her team win 3 consecutive national championships.

“Those were some of the best memories I have ever had, it is a chance of a lifetime,” says Bales. “It’s a great organization, and playing for coach (John) Coffee was great.”

“He got the best players because it was the most fun.”

From a youngster in the Hoopstars program, Bales went on to have a great basketball career at Beavercreek High School, Duke University and is now a professional basketballer in the WNBA.
