06.28Indiana Loses to the Hosuton Comets
Tammy Sutton-Brown scored 13 points, and Tamika Catchings added 10 points on 3-of-9 shooting. Indiana committed 26 turnovers, which the Houston Comets turned into 29 points, in a loss 75-61 Saturday night.
Matee Ajavon led the Comets with a Houston rookie record of 24 points, 13 of which were scored in the second quarter. Houston had a 9-0 run to create their biggest lead of the game and continued to take a 39-29 lead into half time.
The Fever fought to cut the lead to 4 in the 4th quarter but Houston turned and went on a 19-3 run to jump the lead to 73-53.
