Tamika Catchings won a gold in 2004. She likes wearing red white and blue, and the reward of ruling on the court.
“To be able to have the opportunity to come over here and participate in the Olympics is like a dream. Not many people can say they participate in the Olympics and win a gold medal. I have one but I want two. I guess that’s greedy but hey, it is what it is. You come this far, you want to go home with the gold.”
The USA women are undefeated so far in the Beijing Olympics. They take on Korea Tuesday night.
